Position Overview:
Processing Specialist I (Full Time, Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 4 pm) This position will include violation processing and other clerical and data entry tasks. Candidate must be able to follow basic procedures and scripts. Responsibilities may include answering customer questions, processing payments, explaining available services, correcting errors, providing general program information.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Event Processing for both red-light and speed events using web-based tools.
- Open, scan and process inbound customer correspondence.
- Performing clerical and administrative duties.
- Data entry and quality control.
- Operates keyboard or other data entry device to enter data into computer. May manipulate existing data, edit current information, or proof-read new entries in database for accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be able to work effectively with different groups of people in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Strong PC skills to navigate various screens including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in an office environment performing clerical duties including inbound mail processing, outbound mail processing, data entry, quality control, and related administrative duties.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time for date entry/violation processing.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
