As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

STA JD:

• Thorough knowledge of the ASIC design timing closure flow and methodology.
• Expertise in STA tools (Primetime/Tempus) and flow.
• Knowledge of timing corners/modes, process variations and signal integrity related issues.
• Hands on experience in timing/SDC constraints debug.
• Proficient in scripting languages (TCL,PERL,PYTHON).
• Familiarity with backend related methodology and tools.
• Understand and implement improving existing methodologies and flows. Experience in reducing the number of timing signoff corners by merging different timing modes is highly desired.
• Strong background in Constraint analysis and debug
• Deep understanding and experience in timing closure of various test modes such as scan shift, scan capture, at-speed and Bist testing.
• Ability to understand the design clock structure and debug analysis from design point of view is mandatory.
• Clock Tweaking analysis and skills for correct-by-construction CTS building partnering with PNR Engineers.
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• B.tech is mandatory education

4-10 yrs of Experience in Timing closure and signoff
