Quality Manager

In Italy we are present with more than 700 people and 5 production sites. With our main local brands FIP, REDI, ASTORE, ISEA and LARETER, we make products for the building, infrastructure, industry, and agriculture sectors.

We are looking for a Quality Manager, who will be based in Aliaxis Casella (GE) and will report to the Plant Director.

This figure will be in charge of managing the quality control system and team of the site, making sure that products are manufactured in compliance to national and international standards, current rules and meets customer specifications, supporting the company in terms of costs efficiency and cost avoidance.

The Key Responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

• Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
• Support and coordinate the development of the P-FMEA.
• Develop and analyze statistical data, KPIs, and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products, cooperating with the stakeholders involved in identifying and validating the methods and the techniques for the processes and products control.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate them with production procedures in cooperation with Plant Director to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Manage all the internal and external audits, being responsible for the administrative procedures requested by the quality system in order to obtain and periodically check and maintain the Quality certifications, including procedures and compliances with the ISO 9001 regulations, by also taking care of the relationships with Certification Authorities.
• Manage all the Quality System documents (manuals, procedures and technical reports), organizing their review and recurring update.
• Carry out the system monitoring through internal supervision audits on processes and functional areas, ensuring the compliance with the procedures, inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. 
• Review and investigate customer requests and claims, making sure that all the requirements are met.
• Work with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers; possibly visiting them too.
• Design and build the quality control of raw material in-house production and leading the validation of new ones.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• Technical Degree is required, with a preference on Engineering background.
• Experience in a similar business and in a structured multinational company is preferrable.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the quality control function is needed, and at least 5 years of proven experience in team management is necessary.
• Professional and training background in QA system, with a strong know how of the ISO 9001 is required.
• Knowledge in quality-related KPI and statistics and product standards are strongly recommended.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Strong knowledge of the MS Office is necessary.
• Strong customer relations skills with technical background are needed.
• Black Belt certification is considered a plus.
