Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a Commercial Driver's License when required.
  • Must meet the position's physical capacity requirements as determined by the Occupational Medical Provider.
  • Must be able to wear company-provided personal protective equipment when required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.
  • Must be able to operate a government vehicle.
  • Must be able to work in hot or unpleasant environments for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects, materials, or equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and walk across uneven terrain.
  • Proof of United States citizenship is required as a condition of employment.
  • May be required to obtain and hold a Secret or higher United States Government clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform instrument mechanic duties and other duties as required under supervision.
  • Adhere to site safety and operating procedures for equipment being driven and operated.
  • Follow procedures and work control documents.
  • Complete task-specific training for specified equipment.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and perform duties incidental to the work as required by supervision.
  • Follow all North Wind Dynamics policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with all personnel.
  • Work indoors and outdoors around moving mechanical equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
Desired Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited two-year electronics program at a vocational or technical school, or equivalent.
  • At least 30 months of experience maintaining industrial instrumentation or performing electronic work, such as data communications.
