We’re seeking a People Analytics intern to join our Data Analytics Team! This team helps our People Operations (Human Resources) function make data driven decisions to better attract, develop and retain the best people. As a People Analytics intern you will leverage our newly created people operations data lake to uncover trends and model scenarios that will help MongoDB meet our growth targets, while fostering an environment where our employees can do their best work. You will collaborate alongside our people analytics and data science teams to learn about solving human capital challenges specific to a high growth technology organization.  

What we are looking for in you

• In the process of receiving a Masters degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.)
• Intellectually curious
• Educational or professional experience working with databases and SQL
• An excellent communicator
• Experience using Python or R
• Passionate about telling a story with data and skilled in visualizing your work
• Eager to learn new technologies and systems
• Interested in an analytics and data engineering career within a People Team lens

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 or 11 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes.
