The Summer Internship

At Discord, we offer a personalized experience for interns, and our aim is to offer an experience that mimics what it is like to actually work here. We match qualified interns with projects and groups, based on interests and skill sets and fully embed interns within those groups for the summer. Internships are paid and are a minimum of 12 weeks, targeting a start date in June to accommodate varying school calendars. Conditions permitting, our 2023 summer internships will be remote, with an opportunity to spend a week in the office at some point during the program. (Please limit positions to 1 application per role)

The Team

The Revenue finance team aims to ensure the long term health of our rapidly growing subscription business! We provide insights around users and revenue operations of our business, aim to accurately forecast the business, and partner with operating teams to enable better execution of larger business strategy! In this role you will work with senior leaders across data sciences, product, engineering and operations to make a direct impact on revenue reporting and strategy. What you’ll be doing

• Analyze and forecast key user and revenue drivers
• Identify areas to drive growth opportunities
• Build partnerships with data science, product, engineering and operational teams to define strategy and forecast revenue
• Lead a financial and analytical project on recent financial impacts of a large product initiative

You’ll Thrive In This Role If (Role Requirements)...

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors (rising Junior or Senior) or Masters course of study
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent Excel (can perform complex functions) and modeling skills

Salary of $43/hour*
