Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel contracting, tour operating, or hospitality procurement.
  • Ability to source new partnerships from scratch.
  • Deep knowledge of the Portuguese hospitality market.
  • Ability to manage direct contracts and DMC relationships in parallel.
  • Senior-level negotiation skills when dealing with general managers, revenue managers, and regional directors.
  • Ability to read performance data, identify gaps, and build action plans.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Portugal to meet partners on the ground.
Responsibilities
  • Own and grow the Portuguese hotel portfolio across mainland Portugal and border areas, excluding Madeira, the Azores, Porto, and Lisbon.
  • Source new hotel partners and diversify the offer across resorts, boutique properties, leisure hotels, and regional properties.
  • Negotiate exclusive campaigns with hotel partners to achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage a mixed portfolio of direct contracting relationships and DMC partnerships.
  • Pitch, onboard, and build lasting relationships with hotel partners as the company representative.
  • Work with Sales, Content, and Marketing teams to maximize campaign performance and slot allocation.
  • Monitor seasonality, average daily rate pressure, and the competitive landscape, and build proactive action plans.
  • Travel regularly to meet partners across Portugal and represent the company at key industry events.
