Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
  • Master’s in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Public Policy, or Education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in HR Generalist role or 2 years in HR Business Partner role
  • HR certification required
  • Experience with labor laws and employment best practices in the US
  • Experience with DEIB practices
  • Experience with HR systems like Paylocity and Greenhouse
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, cloud-based applications, and project management tools
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience working within communities reflective of SEO’s participant population
Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for people managers in responding to ER concerns
  • Facilitate and mediate difficult conversations
  • Partner with Professional program leadership for performance and development reviews
  • Partner with Total Rewards team for compensation reviews
  • Support Talent Acquisition team for recruitment and retention
  • Respond to employee engagement indicators and develop action plans
  • Assist in HRIS data clean-up and maintenance
  • Develop learning and development strategy
  • Lead or participate in special projects
  • Cross-train and provide backup to different People & Culture centers of excellence
