Requirements
  • Previous guest service experience is required.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to work the usual shift from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, pull at least 50 pounds, and perform pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity tasks.
  • Ability to hear, write, and type.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
  • Must possess an unexpired Utah food handler permit or obtain one within 14 days of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests warmly and enthusiastically and assist the host or hostess with seating guests as needed.
  • Present the menu, answer questions, and make suggestions about food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation.
  • Memorize menu selections and wines, including daily specials and basic ingredients.
  • Maintain and follow all cash-handling procedures.
  • Convey company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Work to resolve disagreements and remain respectful toward guests and co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
