Requirements
  • Must have Antenna design experience
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent with extensive industry experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a technical domain, leading projects, and consistently meeting targets.
  • Working level knowledge of virtualization tools such as ADS, Optenni Lab, Ansys HFSS, CST and mentor graphics to guide working level development and problem solving
  • Hands on familiarity Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, and Cell Site Simulators
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience of antenna design theory such as PIFA, monopole, di-pole, and LDS antenna concepts.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching complex Antenna designs from initial concept, through specification, sourcing, development, validation, and mass production.
  • Experience in Antenna architecture, schematics, and layout design
  • Expertise in Antennas or Wireless Connectivity in-vehicle development process, product development, execution, systems engineering, vehicle integration, or validation.
  • Background in system wireless design (diversity, MIMO, etc)
  • Able to lead in the face of ambiguity and constantly advancing environments while allowing team members to build their own skills
  • High level of sociability while working independently and efficiently with other global organizations within both the technical and business communities.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Sr technical direct reports, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability while crafting a fun work atmosphere and team camaraderie
  • Define and implement virtual and physical tools enabling antenna design and development
  • Stay informed of the latest wireless technology standards and lead projects to develop building blocks for future implementation
  • Architecture design, development, and testing of antenna components/modules
  • Managing CMs throughout antenna development processes
  • Ensure all program deliveries and dates are met for specification releases, DFMEAs, validation results, defect resolution, integration efforts, and product launch
  • Report to senior leaders on project status, roadblocks, and escalation requests
  • Support technical and regulatory discussions with supplier and supply chain resiliency teams to meet GM standards.
