Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, in marketing, partnerships or communications; experience in the gaming industry or other highly regulated industries a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Strong presentation building / PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a very fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and out of comfort zone
  • An exceptional team builder and team player
  • A self-starter with energy to follow-through and own the outcome
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across cross-functional departments (e.g., Partnerships, Marketing, Communications, etc.) to plan, develop and execute fully integrated and strategic marketing initiatives to support the company’s Responsible Gaming mission.
  • Lead the relationship with partners in the Marketing organization to integrate Responsible Gaming into the company’s league and team partnerships and represent RG with these partners.
  • Develop and manage the FanDuel Responsible Gaming Ambassador Program, including partnerships, related campaigns, and activations/events to promote RG education and awareness.
  • Own planning and project management for annual company Responsible Gaming event in September.
  • Draft and deliver content for internal and external Responsible Gaming communications, including social media copy, key messaging documents, event scripts and employee communications.
  • Own internal process to review and assess new talent partners to mitigate RG risk.
  • Manage RG research projects in partnership with Marketing Insights team.
  • Support year-long Responsible Gaming team reporting needs, including quarterly submissions of key metrics and audit workstreams, for Responsible Gaming Marketing projects.
  • Support the development of Responsible Gaming strategic planning initiatives and ongoing stakeholder management requirements.
  • Liaise with external partners and organizations as required, including industry groups and non-profits.

FanDuel operates a fantasy sports platform where users can join daily and weekly contests to win cash prizes. Participants create fantasy teams by selecting real players from various sports, including football, basketball, and baseball. The performance of these teams is determined by the actual statistics of the players in real games. FanDuel generates revenue through entry fees for these contests and enhances the user experience with features like live scoring updates and player news. Unlike some competitors, FanDuel focuses on a wide range of sports and contests, primarily serving the U.S. market while expanding its offerings.
