Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in web technologies
  • General familiarity with the web ecosystem and practices
  • Specific interest in cross-team front-end platform work
  • Strong communication skills: ability to ask the right questions, be thoughtful about who to include in discussions, balance needs, etc
  • Self-motivated style of working: ability to manage competing priorities, estimate sensible timelines, continuously learn where necessary to fill in knowledge gaps, etc
Responsibilities
  • Build software to improve product iteration speed, such as internal libraries, DX tools, deployment systems, etc
  • Meet with stakeholders across web product teams to understand current and future pain points, and collaborate to design immediate and long-term solutions
  • Develop recommendations for product architecture design, language practices, library choices, etc., and share them across the engineering organization
  • Over time, promote high-quality engineering practices across the organization through tech talks, code review, mentorship, etc
