Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP master data
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP/MRP/CRM/QMS applications and how they support Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Order Management, Production, Quality, Finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing industry and key business processes
  • Strong Project Management skills
Responsibilities
  • Being the subject matter expert associated with master data definitions, documentation, processes and procedures
  • Liaising and collaborating with the business for future requirements, communicating regularly to project management about your streams’ status and progress, and flagging and communicating impediments to achieving plans
  • Working with all departments to identify and define master data requirements to support SAP interfacing with other tools (including but not limited to material, vendors, customer, and business partner master data)
  • Identifying gaps between business requirements and systems, and leading the evaluation of new capabilities to address those gaps
  • Documenting data lineage, master data processes, and developing robust controls to ensuring master data integrity and alignment with established business rules and standards, including compliance with data retention and security or regulatory policies
  • Overseeing data quality initiatives, such as data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment, to improve the accuracy and reliability of master data
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all aspects of the master data management portfolio, including master data elements within data domains, and ensuring the data catalogue is up to date

  • Developing and maintaining data reporting and analytics capabilities to monitor the quality and accuracy of master data
  • Organizing and leading data quality strategies, standardizing master data creation, and updating and archiving procedures
  • Assisting the Data and Analytics leadership team with other tasks and projects as required
