Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience are required, including one to two years of related healthcare, consulting, or project management experience.
  • Advanced to expert Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and data analytics skills are required, along with advanced technical and practical use of other Microsoft applications.
  • Advanced to expert proficiency in project architecture and management is required, with demonstrated success assessing and implementing projects across a portfolio of concurrently executed initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership of project teams is required.
  • Demonstrated ability in change management and stakeholder influence is required.
  • Strong professional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle processes, functions, and concepts is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted project manager and advisor for enterprise-wide revenue cycle operations and financial performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead multiple project teams and large-scale, value-focused, client-focused efforts to identify, design, and implement opportunities that optimize processes, drive accurate and timely payment, and reduce adverse financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Finance leaders to establish a sustainable performance improvement mindset through practice recommendations, technology enhancements, and people development.
  • Promote effective and efficient operations using defined measures across revenue cycle operations, including Patient Access, Health Information Management, and Patient Financial Services.
  • Establish policies and procedures and ensure standards of practice are consistent with regulatory agencies.
  • Define and develop enterprise-wide revenue cycle learning and education.
  • Execute advanced project architecture and management design, implementation, and evaluation, including governance and work plan design, facilitation, status reporting, complex analyses of value propositions and opportunities, reporting and measurement, and policy and procedure design and development.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or MHA degree, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or other programming languages is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with hospital registration and billing systems is preferred.
