Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (Green Card holder)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • E.I.T. credential with plans to pursue P.E. licensure
  • 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s) in control system design
  • Proficient with Rockwell Studio 5000, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and motor controllers
  • Strong knowledge of control system architecture, functional safety, and NEC
  • Ability to interpret schematics and generate technical documentation
  • Experience with custom project risk management and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Effective communicator with strong analytical and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% domestically and internationally
Responsibilities
  • Drive design and development of electrical control systems
  • Lead schematic design, panel design, PLC and HMI programming, and integration of industrial networks
  • Participate in design reviews with project stakeholders and provide regular updates
  • Supervise testing, debugging, and prototype development
  • Visit vendor sites for component inspection and testing
  • Collaborate with field teams and procurement to source required components
  • Maintain knowledge of NEC and current control technologies
  • Support sales and marketing with advanced technical expertise
  • Oversee design-build phases, ensuring successful production and installation
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering
  • P.E. licensure
  • Experience with Siemens controls
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Visual Basic and/or C
