Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • One to three years of professional experience, or relevant internship or co-op experience in finance, controlling, data analysis, or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts such as cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP or Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in manufacturing finance or controlling.
  • Geographical flexibility, including the ability to relocate multiple times domestically or internationally throughout the program.
  • Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required before the start date.
Responsibilities
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Assist with monthly financial closings, including variance analysis of actual versus planned results.
  • Support quarterly and annual forecasting processes by collecting data, updating models, and validating assumptions.
  • Help prepare cost targets for the annual business plan and review financial inputs in SAP.
  • Compile standard financial reports and dashboards for plant and divisional reporting.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for management reviews.
  • Support investment and business case analysis, including basic discounted cash flow and return on investment calculations.
  • Help maintain product costing data, including part number setup, cost updates, and releases.
  • Track cost reduction initiatives and support the estimation of financial impacts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and support analysis of performance versus targets.
  • Participate in benchmarking and continuous improvement activities to better understand cost structures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and approvals to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support financial transparency and decision-making.
