Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in design, computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in UX, UI, product design, graphic design, user research, or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of successful product launches and iterations
  • Excellent aesthetic capabilities to create high-quality interfaces and graphics to enhance the visual appeal and overall user experience of software products
  • Experience in user testing and user experience research
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in motion design and/or video editing is a strong plus
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
  • Must be based in the California Bay Area and have the ability to work from the office at least 3 days a week
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end design process for app and web products, translating strategy into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product, business, marketing, etc. to generate innovative ideas with a focus on delivering high-quality user experiences
  • Take a data-driven approach and identify areas of improvement for overall business success. Design and implement solutions that enhance key metrics
  • Conduct user testing and research to assess user satisfaction levels and identify problems. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement based on research findings
  • Communicate and collaborate with external partners to align user experience goals and provide design expertise
  • Establish and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and reusability. Continuously improve design processes and workflows
  • Mentor and inspire other designers. Actively contribute to building a strong design team and user-centered culture
