About the Job

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend Focus), you’ll be responsible for building intuitive, high-performance user experiences while also developing backend APIs in Python. This is a product-driven role where frontend craftsmanship, UX/UI sensibility, and API integration skills will come together to shape the face of BLOCKS’ platform.

While you’ll have support from a dedicated UI/UX contractor, you should be comfortable owning frontend design and product polish when needed. You’ll also be expected to work independently in a 0→1 environment, rapidly turning product ideas into production-ready features.

What You’ll Do

• Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using React, Vue.js, or Svelte (with TypeScript).

• Design and implement backend APIs with Python/FastAPI.

• Integrate external systems and data sources using REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver intuitive user flows and delightful UX.

• Contribute to 0→1 product launches, owning features end-to-end from concept to production.

• Support and extend product capabilities with Slack apps, bots, and workflows (Bolt SDK).

• Create data visualization dashboards (D3.js, Chart.js) to make financial and cloud insights actionable.

• Work independently with high ownership in a fast-moving, startup culture.

What You Bring

• Frontend expertise: React, Vue.js, or Svelte with TypeScript and responsive design.

• Backend proficiency: Python/FastAPI for backend APIs.

• Strong product mindset and ability to balance UX/UI with technical feasibility.

• Solid experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Proven startup 0→1 experience, shipping products from scratch.

Strong Plus

• Slack app development (Bolt SDK, bots, workflows).

• AWS and/or FinOps experience.

• Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js).
