Requirements
- Strong system background based on experience with globally accepted quality system standards such as ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949 or equivalent
- 4+ years experience driving elements of a QMS such as control of non-conforming material, calibration programs, supplier/manufacturing/customer data management, correction action system, etc
- Knowledge of globally accepted methodologies such as 8D, CAPA, DMAIC, PDCA, FMEA, DOE, FTA, etc
- Experience working with Product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and quality management software tools
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization and also with external partners
- Ability to read and interpret technical document including: engineering drawings, blueprints, product specifications, purchase requisitions, material tolerances and finish specifications
- Bachelor's in engineering or management discipline OR equivalent experience in high tech manufacturing or electro-mechanical product companies
- ASQ certification (CQIA, CQT, CQI, CQPA, or CQE) preferred
- Potential for up to 5% local travel
- This role is full-time and on-site at our Locus HQ office
Responsibilities
- Control of non-conforming material including NCMR input, MRB process, and cycle time metrics
- Manage material movements associated with RMA evaluation execution of dispositions, returns to suppliers and follow through on completion of FA or SCAR requests
- Perform associated ERP transactions as required to record material transfer
- Coordination of Failure Analysis tasks for customer field return materials including tracking, triage, report writing, and metrics tracking
- Incoming materials inspections supporting first article qualification or verifying supplier corrective actions
- Participate in the development of our calibration program and oversight to ESD compliance
- May assist with managing internal and external deviation requests including input into our PLM, tracking approval/rejection process and feedback on results
- Participate in cross functional team reviews of both product and process quality trends and support closed loop correction action and systemic prevention initiatives
