The Department of Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for the HRNS 246a, Statistics for Jewish Professionals, 2 credit course in Fall 2024. This course is a required course for all Hornstein MA/Dual degree students. This course provides an introduction to statistical thinking and analytical methods. The focus is on understanding statistical reasoning and interpreting analyses. Topics include descriptive and inferential statistics applied to understanding survey research, evaluation and policy studies relevant to Jewish organizational leadership. The class meets on Mondays from 9:15am -10:35am.
Candidates with minimum qualification of MA, commensurate professional experience, and/or at least 2 years of teaching experience will be given preference.Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references. The deadline for first consideration is July 2, 2024. This appointment is to a position that is in a collective bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local 509.
