Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a test engineer in the consumer electronics or mobile telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to travel domestically when required.
  • Have excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English.
  • Scripting skills to develop or modify test scripts is a plus.
  • Have basic understanding of the circuit theory and RF fundamentals.
  • Be familiar with schematic tools (example: Orcad Capture) and be able to read schematics.
  • Be familiar with at least one PCB/Gerber viewing tool (OrCAD/Allegro is preferred).
  • Basic data and statistical analysis skills to provide test reports, failure analysis reports, characterization reports (derive trends from statistical data).
  • Be familiar with test equipment commonly used in electronics labs (such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Supplies, Function Generators).
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain lab test equipment.
  • Send lab equipment for repair/calibration on dates due.
  • Debugging issues that arise with test equipment.
  • Characterize printed circuit board assemblies and products as instructed by the senior engineers.
  • Support rapid prototyping activities with evaluation modules and breadboarding.
  • Assembling and reworking PCBAs.
  • Modify test fixtures as needed.
  • Develop scripts for test equipment (example: Python, Audio-Precision, Soundcheck).
  • Execute RF and electrical tests.
  • Assist internal compliance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (example: ESD, RE).
  • Analyze test data and generating detailed and summary reports.
  • Travel to other Logitech sites (mainly in the USA) when needed.
