As a member of our technology transformation team, you will be collaborating with clients through creating, developing, designing, and implementing ERP software in ways that will change the digital landscape forever. Our technology transformation team helps clients define strategies, build brands, create experiences, and deliver platforms to achieve business objectives aligned with the clients’ business strategies.
The Intacct Functional Manager position is responsible for supporting and delivering implementations of Sage Intacct ERP and providing advisory around business process and accounting considerations. You will be working with CFGI consultants and clients utilizing your Intacct product knowledge, expertise, and talent to deliver small- and large-scale client technology implementations. This resource will assess client business processes, develop innovative plans to solve their problems, and execute configuration to support these plans. The candidate must have a passion for helping clients find creative ways to solve business problems and more effectively run their business. The candidate needs to be able to work with aggressive timelines and a portfolio of clients. Experience with ERP implementation and Intacct specifically is a required element of this position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
·Preparing and working with a detailed plan to complete project activities.
·Identifies existing inefficiencies, potential improvement opportunities, and critical differentiating business requirements.
·Provides advisory on accounting considerations around business process and system requirements.
·Envisions and develops representations of recommended future state options for evaluation by clients.
·Identifies gaps between requirements and standard system functionality and proposes solution options to meet those gaps (i.e. customizations or process changes).
·Manages and performs systems configuration tasks (but not coding/development) for process workstreams as directed.
·Provides on-going support during project implementations and post-go-live support.
·Guiding/performing data conversions.
·Facilitating/leading testing preparation and execution.
·Facilitating/leading training.
·Expertise in Intacct is required.
·Ability to manage a team of consultants toward the shared goals of the project.
·Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential out of scope activities, and devise contingency plans.
·Working with leadership and other team members, develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Preferred Skills:
·Demonstrated success managing client – facing technology implementations.
·Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
·Prior consulting experience within a Professional Services setting is preferred.
·Strong conceptual, analytic and problem-solving skills. – Strong project and time management skills.
·Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
·Must be a team player and be able to effectively interact with staff at all levels of the firm.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project. Smartsheet.
·Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant certification.
Qualifications and Capabilities:
·Bachelor’s degree preferably in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business Ideal candidate would have implementation experience in Sage Intacct.
·Three plus years of experience in business analyst or process automation position.
·Three plus years implementing Financials software, ideally with a software or consulting / partner firm.
