Requirements
  • An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.
  • Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hire.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Three or more years of experience.
  • A valid United States passport.
  • Experience with trouble-ticket reporting and tracking systems such as ServicePlus.
  • Ability to respond to after-hours calls and provide on-call support based on contract requirements.
  • Ability to travel 0–20% to local-area sites and other locations with similar architecture or footprint.
  • Ability to complete shift work with schedule flexibility, with prior notice, to support a 24-hour/365-day operations site.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience working with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong customer-support skills providing support to end users.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment as necessary, up to 65 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and management of system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Provide support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
  • Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Install PC hardware, server hardware, and network connections.
  • Install and load operating-system and application software using PowerShell, PDQ, or SCCM software-deployment tools.
  • Isolate and resolve hardware, software, and network issues involving applications, operating systems, hardware, communications infrastructure, or combinations of these components.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain the integrity of, and configure network components, and implement operating-system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to Unix and Windows operating systems and layered software packages; maintain them according to established policies, procedures, licensing, and service-level agreements; evaluate and install software and hardware patches; and resolve software-related problems associated with commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf products.
  • Create and follow procedures to maintain and manage multiple linked databases, including security, data safety and integrity, disaster recovery, and bulk data imports and exports.
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance of assigned data-center equipment.
  • Communicate and coordinate scheduled preventive-maintenance windows with potentially impacted customers.
  • Collaborate on and contribute to the development, administration, and testing of backup and recovery plans.
  • Ensure systems are secure according to Security Technical Implementation Guide guidelines and security patches by reviewing ACAS scans and working with Information Systems Security Officers to mitigate findings.
  • Maintain operational, configuration, and other standard operating procedures.
  • Verify system availability using existing enterprise tools.
  • Document and track all support work using the ServicePlus ticketing-management service.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the imagery intelligence domain.
  • Knowledge of the customer's processes and procedures and of the customer's production systems.
  • Ability to create and modify scripts in Windows and Linux.
  • Ability to function as a team member and independently.
  • Skills in one or more of the following: Windows Desktop OS, PowerShell, Red Hat, and Imagery Production Chain.
  • General knowledge of database administration and network administration, including network configuration management skills.
  • Intelligence Community experience.
