ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, provides a wide variety of execution and information services to wholesale market participants.

We offer broking services covering a wide range of asset classes, including Commodities, Credit, Equities, FX, Money Market Funds and Rates.

For each asset class, ICAP offers e-trading capability, giving clients the option to enter prices and execute trades directly via one of our hybrid electronic trading systems, or to engage with brokers who can identify and negotiate trades

Role Overview:

The role of an Execution & Sales Broker is to work within our ICAP Relative Value (ICRV) Fixed Income execution team in its day to day trading and technological activities. The position has emphasis around market analytics, trade execution, and deployment of technical trading tools relating to the desk’s client offering and its long-term strategic success. The right candidate will have previous experience in financial markets in Futures & Options, possess a solid level in Microsoft Excel skillset with attention to understanding mathematical formulas along with strong communication and sales skills, and ability to work under pressure.

We are ideally looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual that can work autonomously and collaboratively in a small team and can think on their feet. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of highly experienced team and would be perfect for somebody looking to further their career in Financial Services.

Workplace: 5 days a week in office

Role Responsibilities

• Promote TP ICAP Group.

• Assist in building and integrating asset pricing tools and advanced software tools used by the desk.

• Conduct valuation & data analysis with production of daily market analytical reports.

• Ensure timely input of trades into trading systems.

• Resolve any trade queries received internally or externally, and ensure any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

• Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies.

• Keep trade records up to date.

• Give live quotes to traders through the messaging systems.

• Monitor markets and follow financial news and developments.

• Liaise with clients, via telephone and face to face, to provide a reliable and efficient broking service.

• Fulfil additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Experience / Competences

Essential

• Educated to a degree level – ideally with a math based or highly numerical/analytical degree.

• Sound understanding of global financial markets; financial products, investment strategies and market dynamics.

• Experience in Government Bonds, and/or Equity Markets, and/or Interest Rate based products.

• Programming language experience, ideally in R, Python, SQL

• Effective communicator both verbally and in writing.

• Personable and engaging and is able to build relationships and networks with a diverse client base.

• Excellent attention to detail, can understand and translate data to a wide-ranging audience.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Proven ability to work under pressure and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

• Critical problem-solving skills.

• High ethical standards and commitment to delivering for clients responsibly.

Desired

• Additional language skills (verbal and written).

• Solid understanding in statistics

• Proven experience in Front Office trade execution

• Excellent & proven knowledge of Options
