Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management in light industrial facilities with relevant experience in facility capital improvement
- Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Slack, Google Suite or equivalent proprietary software
- Ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated self-starter
- Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently
Responsibilities
- You will lead the facilities team to achieve operational excellence and employee satisfaction in day-to-day services such as catered meals, office cleanliness, office administrative services, and repair and maintenance
- Assess current and upcoming facilities and infrastructure needs while analyzing risks, alternatives, mitigations, and improvements, preventative, and corrective maintenance programs
- Implement and oversee facilities, ground maintenance, and custodial service contracts with a particular focus on cost and key performance indicators
- Coordinate materials and services necessary for the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of building and site infrastructure
- Supervise Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste compliance programs
- Manage and troubleshoot repairs in a timely manner with the highest level of safety, quality, and reliability
- Partner with outside firms as required for capital improvements to new and existing facilities, and serve as Construction Manager for facilities capital improvement projects
- Organize and maintain projects, files, drawings, permits, and other appropriate documentation
