Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on internal tools, workflow automation, or enterprise software
  • Experience in identifying applications for AI/ML to solve business problems or improve operational efficiency
  • Strong understanding of content creation and management processes, ideally within a media or publishing environment
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse internal stakeholders, understand their pain points, and translate them into product solutions
  • Experience with agile development and managing a product backlog
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • This is a hybrid position based in New York City, with an in-office requirement of four days per week
Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered tools supporting content creation, curation, distribution, and other operational workflows
  • Identify use cases and define product requirements for AI solutions such as automated content tagging, summarization, SEO optimization tools, image recognition, content moderation assistance, and workflow automation
  • Collaborate closely with editorial teams, marketing operations, data scientists, and engineers to understand needs, define solutions, and drive adoption of new tools
  • Prioritize initiatives based on potential impact on efficiency, cost savings, content quality, or speed to market
  • Define and track key success metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of AI-powered internal tools
  • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML technologies relevant to content operations and workflow automation
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred direct experience with AI/ML projects or products (e.g., NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics)
  • Preferred familiarity with editorial workflows and content management systems
  • Preferred strong analytical skills to measure impact and identify opportunities
  • Preferred change management experience to drive adoption of new tools and processes
