  • BSEE with 12+ years of experience in Fiber Optic Communication and HW Product Development
  • Expert in high-speed pluggable transceiver form-factors and MSAs, SFP+/QSFP+/QSFP-DD/OSFP connectors, cages and their mechanical and thermal design
  • Expert in electrical simulation tools, understanding of the different tools available for simulation
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background
  • Good communication, presentation and documentation skills are a must.
Responsibilities
  • Architects, designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
  • Creates & analyzes equipment and test plan requirements to perform verification; conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
  • Works with Architects, CTO and Product Managers to select components based on analysis of specifications, cost, continuity of supply, and reliability.
  • Leads the reviews original design manufacturer and sub-tier vendor capability to support product development and production.
  • Ensures the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs, and designs integrate with the rest of product functions including mechanical and software.

  • Knowledge of Broadcom SDK is highly desired
