The Senior Software Engineer will participate in all phases of software development to build services to support the goals of the organization.
This position will be responsible for driving service and product performance opportunities, from idea generation to scoping, to strategy building and ultimately automation for self-monitoring, self-diagnosing and self-healing solutions. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will creatively deal with ambiguity and juggle cross-organization complexity.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Own the solution architecture and design across Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and other
applications supporting the Sales and Marketing teams.
• Work with functional and business clients to determine solutions that drive additional
business value.
• Create technical specifications and provide analysis between current and future states.
Be a technical subject matter expert.
• Establishes and evolves best practices for the development efforts within the Salesforce
Marketing Cloud platform
• Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce
• Customize Salesforce to fit business requirements. Resolve technical issues in areas of
ownership
• Leads the migration and development of Salesforce applications for business
stakeholders
• Understands underlying Data.
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com in innovative ways to improve
existing business processes, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
• 5+ years of experience in custom Salesforce Development with minimum 3+ years as a
Salesforce Architect.
• Experience working with business and technical stakeholders from global cross functional teams
• Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its features, functionalities,
limitations, and best practices
• Experience in Data modelling and ingestion, backend API integration approaches for
campaign setup
• Experience building services using AWS services.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce marketing cloud tools – data extensions, automation
studio, journey builder, Datorama reporting.
• Experience with Ampscript, data architecture, SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/ JavaScript required.
• Professional experience in campaign/data migration and data analysis
• Experience with Mobile connect, Mobile Push, Salesforce Customer Data Platform
• Experience creating complex journeys, master audience lists, self-service audience
segmentation using automations, data extensions, and SFMC SQL.
• Understanding of B2C marketing, at scale
• One or more current Salesforce certifications (Administrator/Advanced Administrator,
Platform Developer 1 or 2, App Builder, Sales/Service Cloud).
This role is open to candidates physically located in the following metropolitan statistical areas: Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; and Seattle, WA. Candidates who are not physically located in one of these areas may not be considered for this role.
The expected base pay range for this position is $153,000-174,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, a full range of medical and other benefits is offered.
