Requirements
  • Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Must be licensed in TN & MO
  • 3+ years experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine practice
  • 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
  • Compact physician license
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Licensed in OMG states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA
  • Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
  • Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
  • Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
