  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative operations concepts, processes, procedures, tools, console support products, group documentation, training, certification, and on-orbit procedures demonstrating our core competency of leading
  • Develop Axiom Station integration products including test plans, regulatory documentation, system architecture, information technology and design solutions as related to operations, interface definitions, mission timelines, and procedures through collaboration with Axiom engineering teams
  • Aid in the development of the Private Astronaut Mission (PAM) flight control team’s operations, processes, procedures, tools, console support products, training, certification, and on-orbit procedures
  • Complete Private Astronaut Mission (PAM) flight controller initial training and observe real-time PAM operations
  • Other duties as assigned

Axiom Space provides human spaceflight services and is developing infrastructure for space travel. The company conducts missions to the International Space Station (ISS) and is working on its own commercial space station, the Axiom Station. Axiom Space also creates advanced spacesuits designed for use in low-Earth orbit and beyond. Its clients include private individuals and national astronauts, and the company aims to change how humans live and work in space by offering unique experiences that contribute to civilization's advancement. Axiom Space's business model includes end-to-end space missions, which encompass training, launch, and return, as well as access to the ISS and future Axiom Station. Revenue is generated through mission charges and the development and sale of spacesuits and other space infrastructure. The company is currently building the first commercial space station and a new type of spacesuit in collaboration with NASA and Thales Alenia Space.
