Support Center - Irving
The Omni Inventory Management Analyst owns the end-to-end inventory management for Ecommerce businesses and manages the reporting and analytics for Inventory Management teams while working in a high-energy environment. In this position the person works cross functionally to ensure optimal inventory levels to drive ecomm and third-party marketplace fulfillment. With analytics, this person will develop and maintain central reporting and data analysis for inventory management.
Major Activities
Ecommerce and B2B Inventory Management
Collaborate with ecomm, B2B, and supply chain teams to manage product flow into distribution centers to support inventory levels to maximize GMROI
Own the forecast for MIK Pro bulk buying and third-party ecomm business
Be the Inventory Management point of contact and decision makers for ecomm businesses, including developing inventory strategiesand presenting opportunities and risks
Partner with Ecomm teams to drive high completion rate for Ship-from-store and BOPIS including building systemic demand for peak seasons
Lead root cause investigations of complex inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Inventory Data Analysis and Reporting
With analyticsmine complex data sets to find sales and inventory opportunities. Share out finding with leaders to drive better decision making
Own the analysis and governance of inventory strategies to drive inventory efficiencies
Research and develop new or enhanced exception management reporting
Present findings to leadership to facilitate acceptance and change
Capture the right metrics to influence stakeholders and measure success
Build company and team reportsfor timelyquality decision making
Trouble shoot data flow issues for company and team reports
Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and serve as training partner for new team members
Work with peers to offer guidance of procedure and systems improvements
Use SQL to build new data set tables for efficientreporting
Partner with B2B and Marketing teams to plan and execute large orders
Follow industry and technology trends that can improve processes and operational efficiency
Minimum Education
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Special Certifications or technical skills
- Microsoft Office with high ability in Excel and Access
- SQL or high knowledge in query writing
Minimum Type of experience the job requires
- 2-4 years of experience
- Inventory Management, Supply Chain Finance, or other quantitative decision-making fields
