  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency with Python and C++ production-level coding
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle for robotics
  • Knowledgeable in testing, quality assurance, CI/CD practices, and system monitoring
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong organizational, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or related industry
  • Familiarity with robotic sensors such as 3D cameras and lidar
  • Experience with complex build systems like Cmake
  • Disciplined to staying informed on new technologies and development trends
Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in defining, architecting, and developing in-house robot software applications
  • Actively contribute code focusing on creating extensible, maintainable, scalable solutions
  • Improve software application performance through profiling, debugging, and testing
  • Support integration of state-of-the-art autonomy features
  • Take ownership for improving software applications and architectures
  • Collaborate across disciplines to build cohesive applications
  • Support and train junior engineers
  • Assist in other duties and responsibilities as assigned
