Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise intermodal sales efforts throughout the country while functioning as a subject matter expert for entire sales team.
  • Responsible for all Intermodal sales activity.
  • Prioritize and communicate customer commitments in different regions throughout the country.
  • Promote Intermodal with other lines of business by keeping appropriate parties informed of all services rendered by intermodal.
  • Support intermodal sales activity and lend strength to close new business.
  • Provide strategic information for success in soliciting new business and in managing existing business.
  • Perform quarterly sales reviews with all designated intermodal sales personnel and present findings to the executive team.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with Operations and Sales personnel.
  • Provide market and customer information to leadership and other functional areas on a regular basis.
  • Provide reports of sales activity and market data to respective sales personnel.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
  • Work closely with the rest of our executive intermodal team.
