Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Enter and code vendor invoices for approval, ensuring proper general ledger coding.
  • Download vendor invoices from vendor websites.
  • Process weekly vendor payments and record automated payments in the general ledger.
  • Print weekly patient refunds.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
  • Prepare annual 1099 forms.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure compliance with the Office of Inspector General.
  • Communicate with vendors and departmental leaders.
  • Support the finance team with audits, Medicare cost reports, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with finance-team members and other departments to coordinate projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Solve problems and seek solutions to improve process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Bring issues and concerns to the attention of department management.
  • Use resources effectively and efficiently, demonstrate responsible financial stewardship, manage time, and prioritize work to achieve results.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate’s degree or higher in accounting is preferred.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Ottimate, or Envi is preferred.
