Requirements
  • Highly energetic Advancement professional with strong project management skills and a background in business development/fundraising operations
  • Eight (8) + years of business development/fundraising operations experience
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems creatively and confidently
  • Executive presence with the ability to portray confidence and trust along with a professional image and demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple, high-intensity activities simultaneously and effectively
  • Excellent computer and data management skills/proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel required; Salesforce software experience preferred
  • Adherence to the Code of Ethical Principles of the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP) and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE)
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate organizational decision making to enable transparent prioritization among potential resource mobilization activities
  • Determine and implement best practices for tracking campaign fundraising efforts, including funds secured, in Salesforce
  • Ensure leadership has access to necessary real-time data related to the campaign
  • Coordinate prospect research activities—including relationship mapping—across the campaign
  • Ensure holistic fundraising approaches for all campaign prospects
  • Develop strategic prospect briefings for leadership
  • Coordinate and drive prospect moves management across the campaign
  • Support senior leadership in fundraising outreach, especially anticipating and organizing work for the President & CEO
  • Coordinate the development of necessary campaign collateral
  • Support on proposal and budget development for proposals related to the campaign
  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned
