Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar is required
  • 1+ years of experience in project scheduling
  • 2 - 4 years' total experience in the construction industry
  • Proficient using Primavera P6 software developing and managing schedules
  • Proficiency in critical path methodology to ensure, and communicate, timely delivery of milestone tasks
  • Ability to create and prepare logical Work Breakdown Structure using WBS and activity codes in P6 to effectively build, optimize, and track the plan in P6
  • Deltek Acumen Fuse a plus
  • Federal Project Experience is a plus
  • DOT Project Experience is a plus
  • Experience in construction performing task as a Construction Project Engineer - managing quantity, cost and schedule control is a plus (tracking quantities, reviewing cost reports, forecast, schedule updates, etc.)
Responsibilities
  • Provide training for planning/scheduling practices and P6 software support
  • Support the development & approval of the baseline schedule
  • Assist the project team to identify risks and opportunities during the initial planning and execution of the project
  • Support the project team with the monthly update process - update actuals, update plan, and narrative
  • Review & provide analysis & comments on schedule quality, best practices, and compliance per the contract
  • Consolidate and report on schedule data for operations management review
  • Assist project team with delay or claim management in the schedule (Time Impact Analysis)
  • Create presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate status using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
  • Assist estimating and operations with the development of bid schedules
  • Other duties as assigned
