Your mission: Work with a platform team to provide a great user experience through essential and reliable systems.

This position is for you if you are self-sufficient with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and interface with customers and users alike. You will work closely with the customer to gather requirements for functional system and infrastructure solutions that solve mission needs and enhance user experience. Skilled in administration of a Windows Linux mixed environment
Skilled in administration of VMWare tools

A day in the life consists of:

Supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
Supporting mission critical systems including: Microsoft Domain administration, GPO management, VMware, Cisco Route/Switch, Firewall Management and Saltstack
Providing problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
Supporting IT systems operation from standard processes to problem identification and resolution for all connected client, server, storage, and network
Monitoring and communicating the operational status of IT systems to customer management
Optimizing system performance, operation, and resource utilization
Providing detailed analysis and feedback to internal customers
Configuring and managing operating systems
Conducting/facilitating installs/loads of operating system software
Maintaining patch sets across a distributed set of nodes, taking into account rolling updates to avoid impacting mission load
Maintaining the integrity of network components
Implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

What technical knowledge we are expecting from you:

VMware skills are most desirable
Working with Hardware/Desktop support including Thin Client networking & administration
Windows system administration and Linux skills (AD, local/group policy, etc.)
Active or current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance

What experience we are expecting from you

Masters/Bachelors + 4 Years
Associates + 6 Years
High School/GED + 9 Years
No Degree + 12 Years

Nice to have

Linux system administration skills
Experience/Knowledge of Cisco/Dell/Juniper Switches and Servers
Any networking or cybersecurity experience
