Foundation AI automates document processing for the legal and insurance sectors. It uses OCR, computer vision, and machine learning to ingest unstructured documents, emails, and attachments, then classifies and extracts key data (like names, dates, and amounts) and routes documents to the correct matter or claim file. The platform integrates with existing document management systems and provides a confidence score for each extraction to enable human-in-the-loop validation, ensuring accuracy. Unlike broader document software, Foundation AI targets law firms and claims departments in North America with a focus on handling complex, unique documents and automating end-to-end workflows. Its goal is to remove repetitive administrative work so professionals can focus on higher-value tasks, acting as a bridge between inbound documents and meaningful legal and claims work.
