Responsibilities
  • Analyze software requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to reproduce issues, discuss solutions, and verify fixes.
  • Perform regression, system, integration, and acceptance testing on new and existing code.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving test automation frameworks, if applicable.
  • Generate and communicate detailed test results, status reports, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help foster a culture of quality within the engineering team.

AeroVironment forms Greek JV to produce drones and counter-UAS systems for European defence market

AeroVironment has formed a joint venture with Greece-based Eyeonix SA after receiving foreign investment approval from Greece's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The partnership, called AV Eagle, will establish a manufacturing site in Greece capable of producing unmanned aerial vehicles, loitering munitions and counter-drone systems for European customers. Production is targeted to begin in 2028, with operations expected to start in fiscal 2027. AeroVironment will hold a majority stake in the venture. The move comes as AeroVironment scales rapidly, achieving fiscal year revenue of $1.97 billion, up more than 140% year-on-year. The company expects to reach revenue between $3.5 billion and $4 billion by fiscal 2030. AeroVironment stock gained 0.8% in after-hours trading following the announcement.
