Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement training programs from conception through delivery is required.
  • At least 5 years of previous experience in an operations role, preferably in an administrative or office environment or manufacturing; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Practical experience leveraging and deploying analytical tools and leading data-driven decision processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, simply, constructively, and effectively.
  • A strong client-oriented approach.
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills in a changing environment.
  • Business mindset and acumen, with demonstrated success providing senior leaders and executives with succinct written and verbal communications, including forward-looking action plans covering critical control points, timelines, milestones, and key stakeholder involvement.
  • Time, priority, and project management skills, with the ability to advance initiatives of varying size, scope, and complexity in alignment with their objectives.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project.
Responsibilities
  • Support and lead the Operational Excellence training program across the organization.
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement local or corporate process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery and create a continuous improvement culture.
  • Increase awareness and understanding of operational excellence methodologies, tools, processes, and principles.
  • Guide business functions using Lean Six Sigma and other operational improvement methodologies.
  • Build relationships, influence, and motivate business units and leadership teams to secure commitment to operational excellence objectives.
  • Support operational analysis activities related to cost efficiencies and work distribution.
  • Facilitate and coach improvement teams and help create a collaborative work environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as robotic process automation.
  • Understanding of software delivery methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
  • PMP, Agile, and Change Management credentials.
  • Experience with robotic process automation implementation and process mapping or process mining software.
  • Experience in an operations role in an administrative or office environment or manufacturing is preferred.
