DC Engineer Specialist

Key Responsibilities Platform & Service Management Act as SME for Azure PaaS services including: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps Azure SQL (Managed Instances & Databases), Azure Cache for Redis Service Bus, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Design and deploy secure, scalable, and resilient Azure PaaS solutions. Operations & Monitoring Troubleshoot complex platform issues including performance bottlenecks and outages. Monitor health and performance using: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and third-party tools. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews. Manage service tickets and escalations with Microsoft Support. Optimization & Automation Optimize PaaS services for performance, availability, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps pipelines. Recommend and enforce best practices for cloud-native application lifecycle management. Security & Compliance Enforce access control, encryption, and identity management using Azure AD, RBAC, and Managed Identities. Align PaaS deployments with regulatory and policy requirements in collaboration with security teams. Collaboration & Documentation Partner with DevOps, application teams, and architects to align infrastructure with software delivery. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and administrators. Maintain documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
