Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Guarantee customer satisfaction and service quality by coordinating dining-room staff and monitoring team performance.
  • Control the condition, cleanliness, and setup of the restaurant dining room, bar, and reception areas.
  • Provide customer welcome, service, and payment processing.
  • Ensure application of defined service standards during assigned shifts.
  • Monitor product sales activities and customer relationships handled by the team.
  • Track selected economic-management indicators.
  • Control cash-register procedures and manage part of the restaurant administration.
  • Advise customers, answer questions, conduct courtesy visits, and provide personalized contact.
  • Handle telephone calls, reservations, and customer complaints not resolved by team members.
  • Know the menu and restaurant products and check the dining-room team’s knowledge and presentation of featured products.
  • Delegate and control restaurant cleaning activities and manage cleaning schedules.
  • Control opening, closing, and setup of the dining room, bar, and reception areas.
  • Control the cleanliness of cutlery and tables and ensure supplies for service consoles and the office.
  • Work directly in service-related positions across the dining room, bar, reception, and seminar areas as needed.
  • Distribute service tasks and activities according to staffing levels and expected customer volume.
  • Manage team breaks, section closures, and employee departures according to activity and schedules.
  • Coordinate communication with the kitchen regarding customer requests and feedback.
  • Evaluate team competence and professionalism, manage schedules in compliance with labor regulations, recruit staff and temporary workers subject to management approval, and deliver operational training.
  • Lead pre-service briefings and team meetings, communicate instructions, and maintain staff conduct and presentation standards.
  • Listen to, inform, consult, involve, and empower the team in the life of the establishment and hotel network.
  • Adapt service organization to expected business volume and manage internal conflicts while informing the manager about team morale.
  • Welcome customers on arrival and bid them farewell according to company standards.
  • Direct customer seating based on the floor plan, reservations, and customer preferences.
  • Guarantee service quality and compliance with the company’s quality promise and make corrections or offer discounts when appropriate.
  • Control liquid inventory and beverage cost, oversee delegated restaurant opening and closing, and help manage dining-room equipment and supplies.
  • Apply and monitor cash-register, payment-system, internal-management, office-tool, key-control, and restaurant-security procedures.
  • Apply and monitor the PMS, HACCP, hygiene-reflex procedures, personal safety rules, and refrigerator checks.
