Requirements
  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Has two to four years of experience or has completed coursework at a trade school or Technical College preferred.
  • Must have 1-2 years experience in industrial motor controls and troubleshooting.
  • Must carry a current state journeyman’s electrical license valid in the state where application is submitted (or reciprocal) OR have 8000 recordable hours and ability to test in for the license within 6-months of hire date.
Responsibilities
  • Leadership – Capable of leading and motivating the team to achieve desirable project results and other goals.
  • Electrical and Construction Knowledge – Has an overall technical knowledge
  • Planning and Layout – Overall responsibility for understanding and executing the scope of work
  • Safety – Has the overall responsibility and dedication to keep the project and crews safe
  • Communication – Builds Productive relationships with site management and co-workers. Assists site management in building relationships with client(s) and on-site trades
  • Project Execution, Cost, Schedule and Productivity – Ensures all resources are being effectively utilized to execute the project successfully
  • Project Schedule – Able to read and provide updated information for project schedule
  • Daily Huddles – Sets realistic daily goals with the crew
  • Cost Control - Tracks time and quantities correctly
  • Quality Installation -Sets up front expectations – zero punch list
  • Controls non-productive time
  • Tool Management - Looks ahead for needed tools and equipment for crew and makes arrangements to have available
  • Coaching/Mentoring – Continually works with people to achieve their full potential and views this process as an essential part of the job
  • Constructive Employee Performance Feedback
  • Participates in evaluating crew members when called upon
  • Recognizes training opportunities with those below him/her
