Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in a senior leadership role within the IT function, preferably as a director or VP of IT.
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of IT domains, including infrastructure, applications and cybersecurity.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Setting strategy, clear direction, effective plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure that cybersecurity goals are met, ongoing reporting and measurable and achievable outcomes are in place, and ongoing monitoring of security tools and processes is in place with timely actions.
  • Oversee IT budget for the company and ensure that we are assessing key investments and managing vendor and contractor relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and renewals for licenses and services purchased by the IT department and the company.
  • Support company automation and technology implementation for key healthcare and clinician platforms.
  • Partner with the operations teams to ensure that the appropriate processes, training and infrastructure are in place to support the team’s needs.
  • Oversee IT Operations including leadership of the IT helpdesk and staffing/upskilling the teams.
  • Ensuring equipment inventory quantity available and technology obsolescence, ensuring inventory can support planned requirements.
  • Oversee network operations including company assets and equipment management at company locations.
  • Oversee the IT team-attracting, training, developing top talent and ensuring that the leaders have resources needed to be successful.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal functional partners, board members, and external vendor partners.
  • Identify and evaluate new technology opportunities for the organization, stay relevant in the industry and develop business plans to support ideas.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnerships to maximize value and mitigate risk.
  • Driving continuous improvement at our locations and supporting technology enhancements that drive margin growth and productivity.
  • Ensuring that our KPIs align to effective and successful business outcomes.
