Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt, multitask, and manage changing priorities.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot field issues to reproduce them and, when possible, identify the root cause.
  • Work with the team to create scripts or procedures to correct problems in deployed systems.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to keep all relevant parties informed.
  • Document information and transfer knowledge so that fewer issues are escalated from technical support to engineering.
  • Lead internal and customer-facing calls as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the data center domain and Data Center Infrastructure Management tools.
  • Experience working with Linux-based environments, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Rocky Linux.
  • Knowledge of Java, ANSI SQL, and general programming.
  • Experience using PostgreSQL, JIRA, or GitHub.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, or Docker.
  • Scripting skills using shell scripts, Ruby, Python, or Perl.
