Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience (finance or development)
  • Deep knowledge of Derivatives
  • Knowledge of Digital Assets and DeFi strongly preferred
  • Degree in finance, computer science or other quantitative subjects
  • Experience in Python, SQL, and Excel
  • Good communication skills and is a critical thinker
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with CRO and Risk managers to establish risk management framework for Galaxy's Trading businesses
  • Identify, measure, and manage financial and non-financial risks across Galaxy’s multiple business lines
  • Leverage on-chain information to enable data driven decision making and risk management
  • Build tools to extract information from DeFi protocols
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of systems to calculate risk metrics
  • Communicate with risk takers to assess positions and volatility
  • Produce risk reports for risk takers, risk managers, and senior management
  • Analyze, assess, visualize and report risks to CRO, and senior management
  • Monitor risks across multiple time zones
