Requirements
  • One to two years of branch banking experience.
  • An Associate degree is preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
  • A Notary Public License must be passed and maintained within six months of completing Relationship Banker Training, along with Signature Guarantee permissions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, is required.
  • Ability to multitask to meet or exceed minimum performance standards.
  • Effective verbal, written, listening, and auditory communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal interaction skills.
  • Flexibility to work out of any location at any time as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.
Responsibilities
  • Advocate for members by identifying ways to enhance their experience and providing solutions that help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Attract new retail and business members while fostering deeper relationships with existing members through The Member Advantage approach.
  • Deliver exceptional member service with accuracy and operational excellence, including problem and complaint resolution.
  • Support the branch in growing a profitable book of business to achieve individual and team goals in support of overall corporate goals.
  • Build new relationships through community and foundation involvement and existing member referrals.
  • Increase awareness of service channels through promotion, education, and direct demonstrations to members.
  • Participate in ongoing coaching, job shadowing, mentoring, and training to develop and enhance performance.
  • Detect and report fraud or irregular activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Achieve goals and objectives provided by management.
  • Operate in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Fluency in a second language in addition to English is highly encouraged.
