West Monroe is excited to hire a Manager - Cloud Advisory for our growing Enterprise Technology Practice! Our cloud advisory consultants lead assessments of cutting-edge public cloud & IT infrastructure solutions for a wide range of clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join an employee-centric firm and focus on optimizing complex IT environments within key industry verticals such as Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services, Private Equity, Energy & Utilities, and High-Tech.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with both West Monroe consultants and client leadership to architect, build, and deploy secure cloud & IT infrastructure solutions that improve business operations
- Assess current state processes and enterprise cloud environments, interview stakeholders, gather/define requirements, and make viable solution recommendations
- Develop roadmaps & strategies to optimize public cloud services, cloud-based applications, and other IT systems
- Make key decisions regarding project direction including vendor selections, team workstreams, and methodology
- Act as career advisor/mentor and coach junior consultants on cloud architecture best practices
- Contribute to practice development and Cloud & Platforms-Center of Excellence meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
- Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in IT architecture/engineering role(s) covering areas such as public cloud computing (required), Windows/Linux, servers & virtualization, networking, security, etc.
- Experience leading ’on-prem to cloud’ migrations and/or building out new cloud environments in Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of scripting for automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or ARM templates
- Confident communication, presentation, and team leadership skills
- Willingness to travel for client engagements – COVID-19 permitting
- Bonus: compliance (FedRAMP, HIPAA), FACETS (Healthcare), Microsoft 365, DevSecOps

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of one year of employment.
