Capgemini raises 2026 revenue growth target to 8.5-9% after strong H1 performance

Capgemini has upgraded its 2026 revenue growth outlook following strong first-half performance. The French IT services firm now expects constant currency revenue growth of around 8.5% to 9.0%, up from its previous target of 6.5% to 8.5%. The company reported revenues of €12.1 billion in the first half of 2026, up 8.8% year-on-year, with constant currency growth of 11.3%. Capgemini launches AI-powered 'Inside My Race' for Tour de France personalised fan experience

Capgemini and the Tour de France have launched "Inside My Race", an AI-powered digital platform that provides fans with personalised, near real-time insights during the cycling race. As the Tour's official technology partner, Capgemini developed the solution to transform complex data into contextual stories and tailored race analysis. The platform uses generative AI to interpret live race data, combining information on positioning, speed and terrain with editorial content and historical performance. Fans can follow up to four favourite riders and receive personalised narratives before, during and after each stage. A 3D map visualises selected riders' progress compared to race leaders. The solution, available from 4 July on Tour de France platforms, represents the first innovation from Capgemini's partnership with the event, aiming to make cycling more accessible to global audiences.

Global millionaire population grows by 2M to 25.3M as HNWI wealth hits record $98.3T in 2025

The global high-net-worth individual population grew by nearly 2 million to 25.3 million in 2025, with total wealth reaching a record $98.3 trillion, according to Capgemini's World Wealth Report 2026. This represents an 8.7% increase in HNWI wealth, the largest single-year jump since 2018. Strong equity market performance, particularly in technology and AI-related stocks, drove growth across most regions. The US added 736,000 new millionaires, whilst Asia-Pacific posted 10.5% wealth growth. Ultra-high-net-worth individuals grew 9.4% to approximately 250,000 globally. Competition for wealth management clients has intensified, with exclusive client relationships halving since 2019 to just 19%. Only 17% of HNWIs describe their advisory experience as seamless and personalised, highlighting challenges for traditional wealth management firms.
