Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Diagnostic Ultrasound is required.
  • Two years of experience in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound is required.
  • The candidate must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or successfully complete American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification within the first six months of employment.
  • The role requires strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
  • The role requires the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
  • Perform obstetric and gynecologic, vascular, neonatal, and abdominal sonograms.
